Frequently asked questions

Accuracy, timelines, contracts, content ownership and cost: the questions accountants ask before working with us, answered straight.

Will the content be accurate? I can’t have wrong tax advice under my name.

This is the objection we take most seriously. Articles are researched against current published guidance, written to inform rather than to advise, and reviewed by a human with accounting-sector experience before they reach you. Nothing publishes without your approval, and you can reject or rewrite anything. Where a topic depends on a client’s specific circumstances, the article says so and points to booking a consultation, which also happens to convert better than a false-confidence answer.

Is this just AI slop?

We use AI the way you use tax software: to do the mechanical part faster, not to replace judgement. Topics are chosen from real search demand in your area, structured against what already ranks, then edited and fact-checked by a person. If an article reads like it was generated and shipped, we have failed and you should tell us.

How long until I see results?

Google Business Profile improvements can show inside weeks. Long-tail articles typically start ranking in months two to three. Competitive local terms usually take four to six months. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either buying ads or lying. We would rather tell you the real timeline now than lose you in month two.

Do I have to write anything?

No. One 45-minute discovery call, then roughly twenty minutes a month reviewing the queue. If you want to write, we will happily edit and optimise your drafts instead. Plenty of accountants have strong opinions worth publishing.

What if my city is competitive?

Competitive metros need a narrower entry point: a specific niche and a specific neighbourhood before the broad terms. We will tell you honestly on the discovery call how hard your market is and roughly how long it will take. If we do not think we can win it at your budget, we will say so.

Who owns the content?

You do. Every article, page, image and asset is yours permanently, and it stays on your site if you leave. We do not hold your website hostage. The whole point is that you are building an asset, not renting one.

Is there a contract?

A 90-day initial commitment, then month to month with thirty days’ notice. The 90 days exist because local SEO cannot prove itself in six weeks, not because we want to trap you.

I already have a website. Do I need a new one?

Usually not. If your current site is reasonably fast and we can publish to it, we will work with it and fix the conversion issues. If it is a decade old, unfixably slow, or you cannot edit it, we will tell you plainly and can build a replacement.

What does this cost compared with hiring someone?

A part-time marketing hire is a salary plus the management overhead of directing work you are not an expert in. This is one build fee and one monthly, no recruitment, and a team that has done this specifically for accounting firms. If it is out of reach right now, say so on the call. We would rather tell you straight than sell you something you resent.

What happens on the strategy call?

Fifteen minutes. We look at your current visibility live, name the two or three things costing you the most enquiries, and tell you whether we think we can help. If we cannot, we will point you at what would help instead. No deck, no pressure.

Someone in your town is searching for an accountant right now

They will call one of the first three firms they see. Fifteen minutes on a call tells you exactly what it would take for that firm to be yours.

No pitch deck. No obligation. We will tell you if we are not the right fit.
